1
What should I bring with me?
You'll need your ID.
So we can confirm you're registered & for your drink ticket & for signing the waiver.

How does the RACING part of the event go? Is it 10K or 20K?
Everyone starts with a 10K trail race or 4mile OCR race. All 10K & 4mile OCR finishers will get a medal and drinks/snacks at the end and beer for 21+.
If you want to compete for the Top 3 podium spots, then KEEP READING.

With both the 10K and 4Mile OCR, we'll take the top 10-20% of finishers and offer the 2nd round. You don't have to do it, but if you want to go after the podium, you've gotta go to round 2!

So you don't have to push and go all out for the win in the initial Race. You just need to be within about 10% of your group so you're picked for Round 2.

Ideally, 6-15 men and 6-15 women are pulled out to go into Round 2 where the final battle for podium happens.

Tell me more about the Lake Swim.
The lake swim is right off an area of the park where swimming is done in the summer (the beach area). It will likely be 200-300 meters and ALL participants will be required to put on a LIFEJACKET. There will be volunteers and lifeguards who will be supervising as well.

What happens if I can't complete an obstacle?
If you are in the OPEN COURSE, no worries at all. This is the fun OCR course and you can attempt stuff more than once or skip it, etc.
If you are running the OCR RACE on Sunday morning, then you do need to follow the rules and standards and will be watched to ensure you complete an obstacle before moving on. If you are unable to, you won't be in contention for any podium spots.
